Wedding Jewelry Budget Calculator
Wedding jewelry is one of the easier costs to get wrong, because it is really several costs: what the bride wears, what the bridesmaids wear, whether the groom and groomsmen get anything, and whether mothers and close family are included.
This calculator adds those up using LUVYMIA's own prices. It is not an industry average — it is what these pieces actually cost here, pulled from the catalogue when this page was built.
The price ranges behind the numbers
| Who | Lower end | Typical | Higher end |
|---|---|---|---|
| The bride | $99 | $149 | $399 |
| Each bridesmaid | $45 | $69 | $89 |
| The groom | $45 | $149 | $399 |
| Each parent or close family member | $69 | $89 | $279 |
Three things worth deciding before you total anything up
1. Are you buying for the bridesmaids, or are they buying their own?
This single decision moves the number more than any other. Bridesmaid jewelry given as a gift is a real line in your budget; bridesmaids buying their own is not. Both are normal. Decide it early, because changing your mind late is awkward for everyone.
2. Does the jewelry need to survive the day, or the decade?
Pieces worn once can be chosen on looks alone. Anything you expect to keep wearing — the ring, a pearl set that will come out again — is worth more per item and less per wear. Moissanite rates 9.25 on the Mohs scale and takes daily wear; pearls are organic and need the care described in our Pearl Guide.
3. Coordinated is not the same as identical
A wedding party reads as coordinated when the material and the metal match, not when every piece is the same. Pearl studs on one bridesmaid and a pearl pendant on another will photograph as a set. That flexibility is also what keeps the total down.
